Typeology Font
License Agreement
In the following paragraphs you will find all the terms and conditions that Typeology requires of purchasers of their font/s. Please read the entire license in order to avoid breaking terms that you have as a consumer or possible consumer of Typeology’s font/s. You are not purchasing the design of the font. You are purchasing the permission to use the font. If your usage of a font/s surpasses the terms we have stated please email info[at]typeology[dot]com and we will set terms in order to customize your usage accordingly. So without further adieu here’s the license…
Free Fonts License
Our free font license grants you use of the font in all commercial and non commercial work. Typeology free fonts may not be distributed, altered or available for for download without authorization from Typeology. Warranty, violations and agreement terms that apply to the pay/commercial fonts apply to the free fonts as well. All free fonts are free to use but remain property of Typeology and the font’s designers.
Commercial/Pay Fonts License
Users
Each font license has the ability to be installed on up to 10 rastering machines in the same local network. This includes any output on video, print, internet, display terminals or image rendering machine.
Multi-Device Usage
Multiple machines are permitted to install the purchased font and must adhere to the following pricing formula.
1 License: 1 to 10 Computers
2 Licenses: 11 to 25 Computers
3 Licenses: 26 to 50 Computers
5 Licenses: 51 to 100 Computers
10 Licenses: 101 to 500 Computers
20 Licenses: 501+ Computers
Formats
We provide each of our fonts with a PC and MAC version. All Typeology fonts are formatted in TypeOne Postscript (PC & MAC) and OpenType. If you require an different format one will be provided at an additional cost.
Platforms
All fonts are provided in MAC and PC format. If you need an additional platform you will be charged 10% of your license fee.
Backup
You are permitted to make copies of your font for backup purposes only. You are not permitted to redistribute your backup copy to anyone else except for the users that are covered under your license.
Embedding
You are not permitted to embed the font under any conditions. Embedding the font in a PDF, User Interface, Video, Multimedia Device or Television screen is available under separate licensing. You must contact Typeology and provide documentation that the font will be not accessed by users the embedded font before these restrictions can be lifted.
Modifications
Alterations, additional characters, decompiling or altering the font in anyway is forbidden and can only be allowed with Typeology’s handwritten consent.
Applications
All Typeology fonts are royalty free except for use in applications with over 250,000 impressions. An extended license must be purchased in order to use a Typeology font in any of these ways.
Individual Designer Terms
All designers of typefaces for Typeology have individual designer terms that are included in in every font download. You must obey and respect all conditions and limits of these terms. It is the responsibility of the end user to read and follow these terms.
Warranty
All fonts purchased from Typeology are warranted for a 30 day period following the time of purchase. In order to return a font and get your money back you must return the font software, delete the font file and show documentation that you are the purchaser of the font purchased from Typeology.
Violations
All fonts downloaded from typeology.com are copy written and contain font designs that belong to Typeology and the fonts designers. You will be held legally responsible for any violations that are caused by your lack of our licensing knowledge and terms of our service.
Distribution
All Typeology free and pay fonts are not to be distributed in any way, unless given explicit permission.
Agreement
You agree to not hold Typeology responsible for any damage that might occur from the use of the font including money loss, interruption for business or any incidental damages.
